Nothing special to write except that next week is holiday, have taken 4 days off after christmas day, so will get some chance to rest.

week has started :(

Well, the week has finally started and first day is over :D :(, the day was crazy busy as usual, lots of stuff to be taken care off, one of our user provided me with files for media center which were not supprted by the server we have. Had to convert it to the compatible format.

VP came and ask, what was taking time? Dumbo, explained to him about the 4.5 weeks if backlog. Kept quite (of course the VP) and left.

Will have to start tomorrows work day with burn out status :(

Weekend

Finally weekend is here, tie to sleep more for an hour ;), nothing more, completed watching the play "Ghashiram Kotwal". Excellent play, although had this play since last 6 months, it was difficult to take some time out and watch.

Work Load

This workload is going to kill me. Got 100+ movies remaining to be converted from DVD format to be uploaded into my Windows streaming server.
To add to my misery the new tools works intermittently.
the 3/4 tapes i mentioned in my last blog are being added every week, Receive at least 25 movies every week, so that is additional load which I have not even managed to start.
Well yesterday was real fun, we had our office Christmas party. It was some fondue place in downtown.

Nice setup,
started with some salad and then we had different kinds of breads (white, wheat, rye etc) and apple slices with cheese. This was the 2nd course, third course consisted of steak (which I did not eat), chicken, tiger prawns, salmon and some other kind of fish (don't remember), for the veggie guys it was tofu, mushrooms, ravioli filled with zucchini (is the spelling right?), sweet peppers etc, which we had to cook.
It was fun, the last course was chocolate fondue which had banana, pineapple, strawberries. brownies. Well with tummy so filled with other stuff plus 2 glass of Cuba Libre and Cosmopolitan, there was no chance of having anything else, just had to satisfy on one brownie ;).

As usual and with my bad luck I did not win a single puzzle, well what do you expect after being hammered with all the stuff I had drunk hic!... hic!....

Anyway the hangover is gone but it was good start for Christmas season, with party's lined down till mid-January

at last

At last got some time to write on my blog.
Yesterday evening I went to Hockey game, it was hall of famers hockey game, of course all of them had retired and way old (some of them already balding). The game was between Team Canada & Rest of the World. What we saw was real hockey, not these current day games with lots of penalties, body checking, fighting. It was 10-10 toe at the end of 3 periods.
Also in between we had Figure skating, synchronise skating by girls, kids hockey (all kids aged 3-4 years).
What was amazing was the eneergy these guys had (both the kids & the oldies) and of course the technique they used

Has india changed?

Just read news about Karnataka CM's son drunken behaviour and altercation at hotel. Wondering has india changed since I left 5 years ago? I don't think so, had this happen in US he would have been booked and after he was convicted would have received approx 30+ years of jail time, for mere threats. Must be laughing at my comments, but this is serious, what achievemet this 19 years baccha has in life? Baap CM hain to? can do anyhting? well, thats how India life is only for the rich and famous.

Hummer eh!, good baap CM hain so no one is going to check his income. "humble" farmer and grandson of sleeping PM (remember anyone?)

Diwali time

Empty

Empty feeling, thats what I have now, empty or vaccum? Empty is absense of something so it may be that or something. You might have already guesses, I am not what I am :D.
The Book which I saw yesterday might have contributed to this feeling.
The book was "Being And Nothingness" by French existintalist thinker JeanpPaul Sartre. What is that?
In simble english Existintialism is the study of existence of life. What is the meaning of Life? That is what oit talks about? Do we come into this world for some reason? DO we live for any reason? Well it is too deep ot understand this, especially when you have to worry about everyday life. But something worth considering especially when you are in the state of emptiness like mine.

Let me go back ot my emptiness or in the state surrounded by Vaccuum.
Hell no, I have to go, hmm where? Well for Navratri Danduya and Garba :D Bird watching ;)

Weekend activities

Hi Guys,
Sorry for not writing since middle of last week. Had been busy with weekend ganesh Visarjan Function in our temple.
The function was help on Sunday (not literally the Visarjan Day) but here in Ottawa, functions are held on Sundays so that everyone can participate.
The function was huge success. Approx 500+ peoples attended the function. Myself & my wife (she is better now after week long coughing), were organiser and of course help from fellow marathi community members.
We got lot many calls after the function was over, congratulating us for splendid arrangements and the efficiency with which we cleared up.
Sad part though was death of my aunt's husband. We came to know on saaturday night Died probably due to Cardiac attack.
This was huge shock as my sister is getting married in next 3 months.
The sorrow was inconsolable but, life goes on we have to accept it.
Anyway, nothing much to write, will write in Couple of days

I am back

Hi Guys,
In my previous post I mentioned that I will write on Monday but as usual got busy with other stuff and did not had chance to write, anyway its better to be late than never.
Nothing special over the weekend wife was unwell so had to do all household work, its not that I don't do but this was too much. Finaly she is fine now although bit coughing but at least moving around, but hey she is back to do her usual habit of keeping things neat and tidy, of course I do not have any complaints for it.
WOrk in office is good, no worries, except for some gentlemen or couleague you can says who take things personally and think that I am stupid for demanding somehtings.
Anyway it is their problem not mine :P so I don't care, who has the time to break our head.
Rest all is ok. Will have to get back ot work

Seriously, I am thinking of writing on my blog. Somewhere I can write my thoughts.
Finally, its the day I wait from Monday. Yes you gussed it rgiht Fridayyyyyyyyyyy. Movie day.
But i guess I will not be able to watch any movie today. aaah, one of those days when some family friend invites yo for dinner (which is good). But I am too tired to go anywhere.
Was chatting with my buddy and behold, he is young and enthusiast and already has 3 blogs and he is religiously writing on those.
Guess why I cannot do the same? simple too tired and too lazy to login and write something, with all my grey matter clogged up with all the mess I am working on, nothiong comes outso that I can write, but I guess will get used to writing
